✅ Step-by-Step: Golden Visa Application via ICP Portal

🖥️ Step 1: Open the Website

1. Go to https://icp.gov.ae

2. Click on "Services" in the top menu

3. Then click on "Golden Visa Services"

👤 Step 2: Log in or Register

1. Click on “Start Service”

2. You will be redirected to the Smart Services page:
   🔗 https://smartservices.icp.gov.ae

3. Log in using your UAE PASS (recommended)

   Or create an account with your Emirates ID number and a registered phone number.

📝 Step 3: Start a New Application

Once logged in:

1. On the dashboard, click “Public Services” or search for:
   “Nomination Request for Golden Residency”

2. Click on the service name

3. Press “Start Service” button (you’ll see it near the top right)

📄 Step 4: Fill Out the Application Form

You’ll be asked to enter:

• Personal details (Name, Nationality, Passport number)

• Category you're applying under (Investor, Student, Scientist, etc.)

• Emirates ID number (if you already have one)

• Contact information (email, mobile)

• Address

📎 Step 5: Upload Required Documents

Upload the scanned and translated copies of documents based on your category.

Examples:

• Passport copy

• Visa copy (if you’re already in UAE)

• Education certificates / Investment license / MOHAP letter

• Photograph with white background

• Medical insurance

• Bank letter / tax certificate (for investors)

✅ Make sure your files are clear, in PDF or JPG, and under size limit (~5MB/file)

💳 Step 6: Review & Pay Fees

1. Review your application for any errors

2. Proceed to payment:

   • Application fee: ~AED 2,800–3,000 (depends on your case)

   • Use credit/debit card to pay securely

📩 Step 7: Submit and Wait for Confirmation

1. After payment, click Submit

2. You’ll get a confirmation receipt with your application number

3. Track the status under “My Applications” or via the ICP tracking page:

🏥 Step 8: Medical & Biometric Instructions (after initial approval)

1. If your nomination is approved, you’ll be asked to:

   • Do a medical fitness test

   • Visit an ICP center for biometrics (fingerprints, photo)

2. You’ll receive SMS/email instructions — follow the date and center location mentioned

🪪 Step 9: Final Approval & Emirates ID

1. Once medical + biometric is cleared, your residency visa is stamped

2. Your new Emirates ID will be issued mentioning “Golden Residency”

3. You can now sponsor family, open a bank account, etc.
