Both operate under the Ministry of Education (MoE), and are aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, collectively reaching over 15 lakh students across India.

  • KVS (1963) evolved from the Central Schools Organisation (CSO) to ensure seamless education for children of transferable government employees.
