On July 9, 2025, Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah addressed the Sahkar Samvad in Ahmedabad, as part of the International Year of Cooperatives 2025.

Mr. Shah laid the foundation stone of “Tribhuvan” Sahkari University in Anand, Gujarat, named after Tribhuvandas Patel, the pioneer of India’s cooperative movement.

श्री शाह ने गुजरात के आणंद में “त्रिभुवन” सहकारी विश्वविद्यालय की नींव रखी, जो भारत में सहकारिता आंदोलन के जनक त्रिभुवनदास पटेल के नाम पर है।

✅ 36 lakh women in Gujarat are engaged in cooperative business worth ₹80,000 crore.
